As we arrived at our house, while getting out of the car I suddenly felt a crushing lightness at my neck. I was missing an important weight. Then I realized, my pendant! It was missing from it’s place at my chest. The chain was there, the pendant was gone. I took a deep breath, I observed that my first thought was panic and distress, oh no! Where could I have lost it?Read More
It was a peaceful morning, and at this time of year, during the middle of the week, the tasting room is usually quite so I decided not to open the tasting room and concentrate on doing an outstanding cleaning and organization of the winery. I wasn’t gone that long. As I turned back to the winery and walked to the bottling room, I see leaning up against the doors a very tattered backpack with an even more tattered small child’s blanket sticking out of it and a wood walking stick leaning on the door.Read More
On one of those bright mornings I felt, in my imagination, the image of Shirdi Sai Baba holding up the sunshine. He was energetic and able. I felt that Shirdi Sai Baba could hold up the sunshine as if it was a flashlight. My sense of Shirdi Sai Baba was joyous and radiant like a meaning in the words of the Shakti Gayatri. I learned, separately, that the sun pours forth its life and give its warmth selflessly to life.Read More
A few years ago when I was still working at the Cincinnati Zoo, I was letting the orangutans outside one November morning when it was unseasonably warm for that time of year. There is a photo of Swami on the front and may photos of Shirdi Baba inside. I showed him the book and said this is Swami and Shirdi Baba. He touched Swami's photo and kissed him. When I showed him Baba's photo he did the same and kissed the photo. He had never done that before.Read More
I got really excited about the idea that Baba liked chapatis dipped in sugar. For weeks I planned this, the excitement building with each step of the process. I found a recipe that made four chapatis, dipped them in sugar. I was thrilled about doing this for Baba when I offered them on his altar.Read More

From what I experienced with the first abishek and first fire puja I can't even describe how I felt the strongest energy I've ever felt in my life and a feeling of lightness and relief fed me. From that time I knew for sure that many many times when I was lost Baba was still at my side protecting and driving me towards him. Today I know that he is at my side and waiting for me to shift without doubting in his direction.Read More
This miracle happened only yesterday due to my wash machine having issues. The water overflowed and therefore, I had to clean out the entire laundry area, which is in a closet.
There was a box on one of the higher shelves, I stepped up on my step stool and brought it down. It had some spiritual books, etc. As I was going through the spiritual books, I came across prasad from Sai Temple at Sri Kaleshwar Swami's temple in India.Read More
Both birds had begun hopping from rock to rock, moving quickly in my direction from 100 feet away. One wren came to a stop, while the other proceeded to come closer and closer, until it landed on the rock alter a foot in front of me.Read More
One night it was late (around 8:30) before I started a sadhana that would take me about an hour. I hadn't eaten, but decided to practice first anyway. I was close to the end of the practice when Baba unmistakably said "I'm hungry. When are you going to feed me?" Completely startled, I looked to see how close to the end I was; there were only about six beads left.Read More
We went to Shirdi in April 2017 to have a wedding ceremony in Shirdi blessed by Baba. We where clear that we wanted to purchase a Baba that can be of service to a larger community. On our last day in Shirdi we went to look for him. Being aware that he chooses us we looked around for him. It did not take us long to be found.Read More
During my morning meditation Baba's photo appeared to come to life - smiling - light and love streaming out into the bedroom - thinking I should pranam but knowing if I did the arthritis would not allow me to get up from the floor.
Then I felt the sensation of His toe on my third eye doing it for me - and I was melting into the love.Read More

About 2 weeks into the creation of this site and the time I was reading the rupee stories in the Satcharitra, I was getting out of my car and something shiny caught my eye on the floor. I bent down to investigate and to my surprise it was a 2 rupee coin. It should also be mentioned that not too long before this I had turned my car upside down looking for something under the chairs. If there was a rupee, I would have seen it then.Read More
As we were working on getting Baba up the 2 steps into our house, I noticed a huge flock of birds flying from the East, directly over the room that Baba would be in. I stopped to give thanks for the blessing and noticed that there was no end to the stream of birds. This blessing of the birds continued for at least 12 minutes, maybe longer as we could no longer see in the darkness.
There were so many miracles that happened that day, and continue to happen. Having Baba in our home is a great blessing.
A friend in Vermont proposed an art exhibition entitled “Healing Art and the Art of Healing” with proceeds used in part to fund volunteer work he was doing in his town community. The exhibition came together quickly. As I was shipping paintings shortly before Christmas, concerned about the expenses I was incurring for the project, a neighbor came by and wanted to purchase a painting. Initially intending to buy one painting, she could not choose between two and purchased both. The payment for the two paintings ended up exactly covering the shipping and travel costs for my participation in the exhibition.Read More
She ended up getting lost and had no idea how to get back to her hotel. She even said she was crying, inwardly asking for help. She soon noticed an older man with a beard approaching her, kindly leading her to a main street and directing her to where she needed to go. She was extremely thankful that he had helped her out -- and in such a timely manner, though he soon disappeared. The next day while shopping at a store, she saw a picture of the same man who had helped her the previous evening. She excitedly asked the store owner who he was, hoping to find him to thank him again. The shop owner told her that she had been visited by Shirdi Sai Baba and that he was no longer in physical form.Read More
So I was distracted in my hurry. So I’m walking and enjoying the mud between my toes and trying to make my way as quickly as I can to the hotel. And I look up and I’m in the area where there are farm fields and these old style mud huts, I mean the way I would imagine Shirdi looked when Baba was there. And then suddenly there was Baba about a hundred yards ahead of me in the direction I was walking, begging from one of the houses. You know, with his begging bowl and it was exactly as I would (imagine), it was unmistakable.Read More
